Join us for the opening of the Wanganui Arts Society Annual Exhibition Friday 12th March @ 6pm, at the Community Arts Centre, 19 Taupo Quay..

1st place—$300, 2nd place—$200, 3rd place—$100 and Merit Awards.

IMPORTANT DATES

Submissions: 27th February, 10am to 4pm at the Arts Society building.

Pick up unselected work from the arts society building, Tuesday 2nd March 10am to 12 noon or Wednesday 13th March (‘Plain Talking’ meeting) 6.30 – 8.30pm.

Opening and prize giving: Friday 12th March @ 6pm, at the Community Arts Centre, 19 Taupo Quay.

Exhibition will run from 9th March to 21st March. 10am to 4pm daily.

Pick up sold and unsold work from the Community Art Centre: 4pm to 5pm 21st March.

All members are invited to join us for our Plein Talking’ Members Meeting the 1st Wednesday of each month, 6.30pm at the Wanganui RSA, 170 St Hill Street.

Bring new works, option for objective critiques for those that would like it. If you would like to briefly speak about your work/recent travels/artistic experiences please email us contact@wanganuiartsociety.co.nz

We are having an outdoor picnic for our members, so pack those baskets and come enjoy a relaxed day in the sun.

The gardens are located approximately 17km north of Wanganui, a pleasant 20 minute drive from the city centre.
