This is a rare chance to see over 50 paintings from one of the world’s finest collections of 19th century French painting, held by the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. The largest and richest collection of Impressionist paintings ever to come to New Zealand. this is a rare opportunity to see 27 stunning works by Claude Monet displayed alongside Impressionist masterpieces by Renoir, Degas, Cézanne, Manet, Pissaro and others. These 56 paintings are from one of the world’s finest collections of 19th century French painting held by the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Te Papa is the only New Zealand venue for this exhibition.
